Who is responsible

Information the website collects
The application form collects your name, email address, city and country, Instagram profile, any other profile links you choose to supply, and your description of your content and goals. It records your age and contact-permission confirmations, a submission identifier, the submission time, and the application’s status. Please do not include identity documents, financial account details, explicit content, health information, or other sensitive personal information in the free-text fields.
Age confirmation and browser storage
The entrance gate uses a first-party session cookie named velum_age to remember an affirmative 18+ declaration. It contains a confirmation value, not a birth date or identity document, and is not used for advertising. Browsers may preserve session cookies when restoring a browsing session; you can clear it through your browser settings. Declining confirmation removes that cookie. The separate application age declaration is stored with the application. These declarations do not independently verify age.
Why information is used
Application information is used to review your inquiry, understand your stated goals, assess a potential working relationship, and communicate with you about it. Submission identifiers and limited frequency checks help prevent duplicate or abusive submissions. Records may also be used to meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. The current website does not include an email-marketing signup, advertising pixel, or automated acceptance/rejection process.
Hosting and other recipients
The current website is hosted through OpenAI Sites, with a Cloudflare Worker and D1 database used to serve the site and store applications. Hosting and infrastructure services may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and security logs. Velum personnel authorized to review applications may access the information for that purpose. The final notice must also identify any additional operational recipients, outside tools, or onward sharing used by Velum after receiving applications.
External fonts and links
The main website and application page request fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser connecting to Google’s font servers and disclosing technical connection information. Following an Instagram or other external link is governed by that service’s privacy practices. The age-confirmation and legal pages use local system fonts.
Retention
The website currently stores applications without an automated deletion schedule. A final retention schedule is still being established. Florida Statutes section 468.409 requires covered talent-agency application, registration, or contract records to be preserved for one year after the last entry. Other applicable recordkeeping requirements or legal claims may require longer retention. A deletion request will be assessed against any applicable retention obligation; this draft does not promise immediate deletion or a fixed deletion date.
Privacy rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain processing, or to object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing. Contact hello@velumagency.com and describe your request. We may need proportionate information to confirm that the request concerns your own data. Rights may be subject to lawful exceptions, including required recordkeeping. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
International applicants
Velum is based in Florida and intends to consider international applicants. The final notice must describe the applicable lawful bases for processing and any required arrangements for international transfers before covered international recruitment begins. Do not treat submitting an application as blanket consent to international transfers. This draft does not claim that a specific transfer certification, contract, or overseas representative is already in place.
Security and age concerns
The site restricts public access to submitted applications and uses HTTPS on its hosted domain. No method of storage or transmission is risk-free. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted personal information, or you have a privacy or security concern, contact hello@velumagency.com so the information and any applicable recordkeeping obligations can be assessed.
Updates
An adopted notice will state an effective date and reflect the actual application-handling practices. Material changes will be described here and communicated when required.
